Merry Maids is deep into American Heart Month and recently Merry Maids spokesperson and franchise owner, Amy Bates appeared on the popular morning show The Balancing Act® as she talked about what Merry Maids professional cleaning service is doing, both locally, and nationally to support this important women’s health cause. The episode aired on February 11 and will air again on February 18, 2014 at 6 a.m. on Lifetime TV.

The segment’s focus is on the No.1 killer in women, heart disease, and how women can recognize signs and symptoms. Tulsa owner, Bates, appeared as a special guest on the show and one year of free Merry Maids cleaning services was given to an American Heart Association heart survivor.
Merry Maids, a professional cleaning service for homes across the country and the globe, is a national supporter of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign for its second year. The company hosts a “Raise the Roof” campaign for employees and customers. Local Merry Maids branch and franchise offices will place red house-shaped coin banks in customers’ homes to collect loose change during heart month. At the end of February, a Merry Maids team member will pick-up the coin bank and donate 100 percent of the funds raised to the American Heart Association to help fight heart disease and help millions of men and women across the country.
